

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Monday visited the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Alexander Garden in the Red Square in Moscow. This took place within the context of His Majesty’s current state visit to the Russian Federation.
Upon His Majesty’s arrival, he was received by Lieutenant General Yevgeny Seleznev, Commandant of Moscow, and some Russian official figures. During the visit, His Majesty placed a wreath of flowers at the memorial.

Earlier in the day, His Majesty the Sultan arrived in Moscow on a two-day state visit to the Russian Federation.
An official reception was held at Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow in a manifestation of a warm welcome for His Majesty the Sultan.
At the foot of the ramp, His Majesty the Sultan was received by Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development, some officials in the Russian Federation and members of the Omani Embassy in Moscow.

After that, His Majesty the Sultan inspected the Guard of Honour. Then, His Majesty proceeded to the dais of honour where the Royal Anthem of Oman and the National Anthem of the Russian Federation were played.
His Majesty the Sultan will be accorded an official reception protocols on Tuesday at the Kremlin Palace in the Russian capital, Moscow. His Majesty will meet with President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation, as the two leaders will conduct official talks. — ONA
